This story does not just pick up on the topic of "vegan" and develop with humor. I hope to make it a piece of work that, as you read on with laughter, encourages you to quite naturally want to reconsider "your own dietary habit in the present," and what’s more, "our risky dietary habits in the modern age." In the Episode 2, I have introduced a new character "the meat-lover." He stands on the direct opposite side of "Saiko, who declared to become vegan." He will play an important role as the story unfolds.

Ken works for an advertisement agency. He is working as a graphic designer. Oribe Hattori, who is in the same creative department, is a copy writer. Ken loves to go out for a drink and chat with Oribe. It also serves as his stress relief. Even on the following day after Saiko declared to become vegan, Ken couldn’t resist Oribe’s invitation and went drinking with him. Drinking draft beer at the pub they often go to, Ken complains about "Saiko’s Vegan Declaration." Oribe, however, seems to have gotten intrigued by her.
